Currant Tomato Seeds

Red Currant Tomato is a vigorous heirloom variety that produces abundant clusters of tiny, bright-red tomatoes. The fruits have a rich, sweet-tart flavour and are excellent for salads, garnishing, snacking and fresh eating.

This indeterminate variety grows into a large, branching plant and continues producing throughout the growing season. Its attractive clusters of miniature tomatoes make it an excellent choice for home gardens and edible landscapes. Staking or trellising is recommended.

Germination Instructions:

Sow seeds approximately 5 mm deep in a moist, well-draining seed-starting mix. Maintain a temperature of 21–27°C and keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Seeds usually germinate within 7–14 days.

After the seedlings develop 2–3 true leaves, transplant them into individual pots. Move the plants outdoors after all danger of frost has passed. Space plants approximately 60–90 cm apart in a sunny location.
